The stone country house built by Sergio on the hill in Colpalombo
The country house Sergio built in 2001.

SERGIO · MARTA · FEDERICO

A promise
that became a home.

In the 1960s, my grandfather Sergio was still a child, but he was already working the land. The hill where Villa Sant’Andrea stands today belonged to the Marchioness Del Gallo di Roccagiovine, owner of nearby Magrano Castle. He lived a little further downhill.

Our family remembers the hard work of those years and the way the marchioness treated the boys. One day, Sergio told her that he would buy the land and build his own home there.

Years later, that land became his. In 2001, Sergio built the country house on the very hill where he had worked as a child. In 2008, it became an agriturismo and began welcoming guests.

Today I look after the house with my mother Marta. I’m Federico, Sergio’s grandson, and I share his drive to make things happen. I’m taking the house forward with my own ideas and the same determination.
